Kingston: On Monday, the Cricket West Indies (CWI) selection team announced a 17-member temporary team that will start the Betway test series against Pakistan on August 12.

The team recalled fast bowler Chemar Holder and intermediate batter Shamarh Brooks, statement Say from the cricket board.

The statement pointed out that Holder made his test debut in New Zealand last year, but has not appeared since. Brooks played in New Zealand for the last time and spent a glorious century in last week’s Best v Best Four Days Tournament.

In addition, two experienced players, left-handed Darren Bravo and fast bowler Shannon Gabriel, will not appear in the upcoming two series.

The two-match Betway test series will be held in Sabina Park from August 12th to 16th and August 20th to 24th. The Betway Test Series is the first of the six series in the new cycle of the International Cricket Council World Test Championship, which aims to find the best test cricket team in the world.
