The suspect who was involved in the killing of the former MQM MPA was arrested

The Sindh Police Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed on Sunday that it had arrested a suspect involved in six targeted killings, including the assassination of a former provincial council member belonging to Muttahida Qaumi.

The suspect’s brother, Asim Capri, was also allegedly involved in multiple terrorism cases and other crimes, including the murder of Qawwali mastero Amjad Sabri. He was also arrested by CTD and is currently in prison.

CTD explained that Rehman had been imprisoned earlier, but after he was released from prison, he rejoined his gang and planned to carry out terrorist activities in the city, especially the killing of important people. Further investigation is ongoing.
