Islamabad: American blogger Cynthia Ritchie was in a coma the next day after admission. The doctor said she felt much better.

The hospital authorities confirmed that the American citizen was still receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Islamabad, adding that she felt much better now.

Hospital authorities said that the American video blogger will be discharged from the hospital and sent home after a doctor thoroughly examines her medical report.

A day ago, Rich was rushed to the hospital after he was found unconscious in an apartment in the federal capital. The doctor quoted Rich as saying that she had been injected with anesthetic.

Hospital sources told Geographic News that her stomach had been washed, and the things extracted from it had been sent to the laboratory for further testing.

Rich made the headlines in June last year when she accused senior PPP leaders and former interior minister Rahman Malik of raping her and accused former Prime Minister Yusuf Razajrani of “roughly treating” her a few years ago.

Both Malik and Gilani refuted her accusations and said that Rich was lying in order to slander the BJP.
