Microsoft is updating the HoloLens 2 headsets with Windows 11 by the end of June this year.

The update will be available for free and optional for the users. Upgrading to Windows 11 will ensure better performance and developer-focused features.

It also focuses on the security of sensitive information by providing monthly security servicing updates.

As per The Verge, the upgrade won’t change anything significant in the user interface, however, developer-focused features will provide access to Edge WebView2 control to allow them to embed HTML, CSS, and JavaScript easily into their apps.

The update will be available in the month of June for all users.
