Alexa will no longer use celebrity voices

Amazon is discontinuing the celebrity voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Melisssa McCarthy.

The celebrity voices could respond to questions, tell jokes, or narrate a story. Amazon launched the feature with a starting price of $0.99 in 2019. However, the current rate of purchase is $4.99.
