Lahore: The Punjab Assembly of Speakers Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi chaired the No. 13 Special Committee meeting in the Punjab Assembly on Friday to discuss the postponement of the Relief 1122 Act in the Punjab Assembly The problem.

The President of the Punjab Assembly said at this time that action will be taken against those who obstruct the implementation of the law.

The meeting unanimously decided to request the addition of the Chief Secretary, the Ministry of Interior, the Chief of Legal Affairs, the Chief of Regulations, and the Chief of Administration to provide written explanations on the non-implementation of the 1122 Law. The special committee meeting was postponed to June 21.

Although the parliament passed the rescue 1122 law and did not implement it, in this regard, MPA Malik Mohammad Ahmad Khan submitted a privilege motion in the parliament, in which he stated that “the Punjab parliament passed a bill on June 16, 2006, according to the bill. Service 1122 came into being. The law mentions that the relevant departments will formulate rules to carry out this service, but after a few years, the rules have not yet been formulated.

In view of this, the House of Representatives unanimously passed the Emergency Services Amendment Act on March 2, 2021. According to the Act, the services of DG Rescue 1122 will be formalized. In addition to solving the affairs of other employees working in the agency, it should also be granted. It is an autonomous department, but even after four months, no progress has been made.”

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Law Basharat Raja, MPAs Malik Mohammad Ahmad Khan, Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh, Malik Nadeem Kamran, Raja Yawar Kamal, Syed Usman Mahmood, Nawabzada Waseem Khan, Mian Shafi Muhammad, Mian Jamshed Altaf, Punjab Assembly Secretary Mohammad Khan Bhatti And DG Council Affairs Inayatullah Lak.
