A company spokesperson told Insider that it was “inspired by innovations in the cryptocurrency space and is exploring what this will look like on Amazon.”

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud branch of Amazon and currently provides managed blockchain services.

The company further stated that the new digital currency and blockchain product leaders will “need to operate with a high degree of autonomy and analysis, regress from data and customer insights, and build new innovative solutions to unresolved problems”.

Tech giant Apple released a similar list in May, hiring a business development manager to “work in alternative payment providers or cooperate with other payment providers, such as digital wallets, BNPL, fast payment, cryptocurrency, etc.” .

Tesla and Twitter are optimistic about Bitcoin as the next payment model. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey emphasized that the online world needs a global currency, and our focus is Bitcoin, because with this cryptocurrency, we can reach everyone on the planet.

At the same time, Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that after some due diligence on the improvement of the energy structure used to mine cryptocurrency, the company is “most likely” to resume accepting Bitcoin payments. –
