The Sindh Provincial Government will open 24-hour vaccination centers in various districts of Karachi

• Qasim Soomro, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Health, said that arrangements for the hospital’s 24-hour operation are being finalized.
• The positive rate of coronavirus in metropolises cannot be reduced, reaching 23.79% in the past 24 hours.
  
• The vaccination centers of Khaliq Dina Hall and Jinnah Hospital will operate around the clock in the southern district.

Karachi: In view of the alarming increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the metropolis, the Sindh Ministry of Health has decided to open at least one all-weather vaccination center in each district, said Qasim Soomro, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Health.

Soomro said that the 24-hour vaccination center will operate at the Central Children’s Hospital and the New Karachi Hospital. The Expo Center and Dow University’s Ojha campus will operate in the Eastern District, while the Khaliq Dina Hall and Jinnah Hospital’s vaccination centers will operate around the clock in the Southern District.

Soomro added that the Government Qatar Hospital in the Western District and the Murad Memon Hospital in the Mariel District will also be open 24 hours a day. Vaccination centers in Korangi district include the Korangi Fifth Hospital of the Sindh Provincial Government.

“Arrangements for the 24-hour operation of the hospital are being finalized,” said Qassim Sumro.

Karachi coronavirus positive rate reaches 23.79%

At the same time, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of Sindh Province said on Sunday that the positive rate of coronavirus in the metropolis reached 23.79% within 24 hours.

He said that out of 11, 065 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, 2,632 people tested positive.
