The second day of Eid al-Fitr: tourists flock to enjoy the last holiday

According to reports on Thursday, groups of tourists from Muri are enjoying the second day of Eid al-Adha with family and friends.

The traffic police said that according to detailed information, a large number of people are arriving in Muri. So far, 38,000 cars have entered Pakistan’s main tourist attractions, and the attraction has a capacity of 3,200.

According to guidelines issued by the National Command and Control Center (NCOC) to curb the spread of the deadly virus, tourists are prohibited from entering Muri without a COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Chief Transportation Officer Rai Mazhar Tahir said that Muri deployed 340 traffic personnel to guide tourists.

He added that the police are not allowed to take time off during the Hari Raya holiday.

He added that police officers were also instructed to work hard and provide a peaceful environment for the community during Eid.
