Islamabad: On Monday, a district and conference court in the federal capital extended the judicial remand of Zahir Jaffer’s parents to August 23 to hear the murder of Noor Mukadam.

Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee, Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee, were referred to the Magistrate Nasier Uddin after the judicial remand . They have been sent back to Adiala prison.

The bail request of Zahir Jaffer’s parents was rejected by the court on August 5. They stated in the bail application that they were not with their son and did not know that something like this was happening at home.

The prosecutor had stated that the suspect had contacted his parents, but they did not notify the police. He argued that they tried to save their son.

“When the employees called, the behavior was happening, but they sent a therapist instead of the police. The pistol was also the name of the suspect’s father Zakir Jaff,” the prosecutor said.

The prosecutor said that call records, CDRs, DVRs and closed-circuit television recordings can be seen. He said that parents tried to save their children on the grounds of dishonesty. At this stage, their bail application should be rejected.

She is the daughter of Shaukat Mukadam who was former Pakistani ambassador to South Korea and Kazakhstan.

The Islamabad police arrested Zahir from his home on the night of July 20, where according to Noor’s parents, he killed her with a sharp tool and decapitated her.
