Careem cooperates with the government to carry out vaccination campaign

Careem worked with the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) government and the Sindh provincial government (GoS) to arrange Covid-19 vaccination camps for its colleagues in Karachi and Islamabad offices, captains, their families and other residents in the workplace.

Zeeshan Hasib Baig, General Manager of Careem Pakistan, said: “We are very grateful to our respective government offices for cooperating with us to carry out vaccination activities. I encourage all Careem team leaders, colleagues and customers to get vaccinated as soon as possible and play their part in fighting the virus. Only one heart Together, we can overcome the spread of this deadly virus.”

Careem looks forward to ensuring that all its captains and colleagues are not only fully vaccinated, but also follow the recommended guidelines, and will continue to urge its customers to always follow the same guidelines.

Careem also launched a “vaccination” Earlier this year, a tool in its app allowed customers to call the nearest vaccination center and book a worry-free ride, avoiding all traffic and parking issues. The tool includes detailed information from official government sources about the vaccines provided in the country, their eligibility, and the time and location of all vaccination centers across the country.
