Sindh Province: Continue to crack down on transporters who overcharge during Eid al-Fitr

The crackdown on carriers suspected of overcharging on the eve of Eidul Adha is still continuing throughout Sindh.
According to Syed Awais Shah, the Minister of Transportation of Sindh Province, several transportation companies in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Tada and other places have been fined for overcharging passengers.
He added that in the province-wide crackdown, passengers over 200,000 rupees were returned to overcharges. A fine of 180,000 rupees was imposed on various vehicles found showing off government orders.
Several passengers were warned not to carry a COVID-19 vaccination certificate while travelling, while in La Cana, 45 passengers were vaccinated against COVID-19.
Shah said that on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, no one is allowed to be slaughtered, and instructed the transportation department to monitor the fare.
