Shortage of bogies caused train delays

Lahore: The train was delayed several hours due to a severe shortage of bogies. The shortage of bogies has become a serious problem. Passengers travel on the roof of the train. More than 10 trains from Quetta and Karachi to Lahore were delayed for several hours. Pak Business was delayed by four hours and ten minutes, leaving passengers stranded at the station for several hours.

Awam Express is four hours late, Shah Hussain Express is three hours and ten minutes, Jaffar Express is two hours and twenty minutes, Shalimar Express is three hours, Allama Iqbal Express is two and a half hours, Karachi Express is two hours and fifteen minutes, Karakorum Express, Khyber Mail one and a half hours.

Assigned pedal inspection responsibilities: In accordance with the instructions of Muhammad Nasir Khalili, Director of Pakistan’s Lahore Railway Bureau, the duties of day and night pedal inspections have been assigned to inspectors and train engine divisions and assistants Officials. From June 23 to July 7, the district transportation officer, Shahid Raza, has assigned responsibilities to railway officials and other staff in the train engine to ensure that the train runs in a timely manner; an official notice has been issued in this regard. According to the notice, the Lahore branch has assigned pedal inspection tasks in different parts of Shalimar Express, Shah Hussain Express, Khyber Mail, Karakoram, Allama Iqbal Express, Sir Syed Express and Jafar Express.
