PHEC, VU signed a memorandum of understanding on upgrading professional skills

Lahore: The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) signed a memorandum of understanding with the virtual university to promote capacity building activities, including training, workshops, conferences, seminars, symposiums, for students, faculty, staff, administrators and higher education Staff Punjab of the Agency (HEI).

This memorandum of understanding aims to exchange professional knowledge and technical support to improve the learning ability and professional skills of the professional development of the higher education sector in Punjab.

According to the agreement, the virtual university will provide PHEC with technical support for online education, informatization applications and solutions. VU will support the development of courses and other educational content. The virtual university will also provide technical support for higher education institutions in Punjab in terms of capacity building, including training faculty and other staff, and mixed/online education to promote R&D activities in higher education institutions. PHEC will facilitate the VU to implement and implement IT-based solutions, including the development of a learning management system in higher education institutions in Punjab. PHEC will also provide support in providing internship opportunities for VU students. Professor Fazal Ahmed, Chairman of PHEC, and Professor Arshad Saleem Bhatti, President of VU, signed a memorandum of understanding.
