Pakistan’s positive rate has risen again, recording 2.3%

Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 27 new coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours.

According to data from the National Command and Operations Center, 42,062 tests were conducted on June 29, of which 979 tested positive for COVID-19.

The country’s positive rate has risen again and is currently 2.3%.

In the past 24 hours, another 27 people have died from the coronavirus in Pakistan, which has pushed the national death toll since the pandemic began to 22,281.

Sindh province has reported the most deaths in the past 24 hours, followed by Punjab province. Of the 27 deaths in the past 24 hours, 13 died from ventilators.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan currently stands at 31,606.

According to the breakdown of the provinces, there are 11,852 active cases in Sindh, 17,218 in Punjab, 9,525 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,900 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 746 in Balochistan, and Gilgit -360 cases in Baltistan Province and Ashmir State.
