Pakistan condemns Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque

Pakistan on Sunday condemned the recent violent attacks by the Israeli occupying forces on worshippers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied territories and urged the international community to act quickly to protect the Palestinians.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that such attacks “violated all humanitarian norms and human rights laws.”

“The Pakistani government is in solidarity with the Palestinian government and people for their fundamental rights and equal justice requirements,” it said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Pakistan also once again called for the establishment of a viable, independent and contiguous Palestinian state on the basis of the internationally agreed border parameters before 1967, with the Holy City as its capital.
