Within one day, COVID-19 claimed 70 lives across Pakistan

A total of 1,002,430 people recovered from the pandemic, adding that the positive rate of infection was 6.23%.
NCOC said that COVID-19 has claimed 70 lives across Pakistan in the past 24 hours, adding that 4,893 people are in critical condition.
To date, Pakistan has performed 17,115,272 tests to diagnose the deadly virus, of which 51,982 tests have been performed in the past 24 hours.
Sindh province is the most affected area in the country with 417,439 infections, followed by Punjab province with 377,208 cases reported.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province ranked third with 155,153 cases. So far, 9,526 new infections have been reported in Islamabad 95,491, Balochistan 31,755, AJK 30,314 and GB.
