Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Saturday that political leaders with assets abroad “can never make a stand for the people of Kashmir”.
The Prime Minister spoke at a rally in the Bagh region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and said that if he has assets abroad, then even he cannot say “absolutely no” to the United States.
The Prime Minister clarified the importance of the rule of law. He said that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once said that a country without justice will no longer exist.
“If justice is not done, no country can prosper,” he said.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the opposition parties are rallying against the government and threatening to overthrow the government, just to obtain concessions under the NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) in order to keep the previous system intact, in which the law is different for the rich.
“I met a lot of Kashmiris abroad, especially in the UK. You can ask them if the corrupt people in that country require NRO. No prosperous country has different laws for the rich and the poor,” he said.
“The acting is better than the Bollywood star”
“In any civilized society, people convicted by the Supreme Court will not act as if they are better than Bollywood stars, providing false medical tests and fleeing to the UK,” he said, referring to the PML heading to London- N supremo Nawaz Sharif sought medical treatment.
The Prime Minister said that what the PTI-led government has done for the rule of law can be called “jihad” because there has never been a powerful person held accountable in the country’s history.
When talking about the country’s economic situation, the Prime Minister said that the past government has never tried to make the country self-reliant, but tomorrow’s Pakistan will provide loans to poorer countries and refuse to accept aid.
“Good days are coming soon,” he said.
RSS “poses a threat to India”
The Prime Minister praised the bravery of the Kashmiris and said that he would not let them down, would become their spokesperson and promote their cause on a global scale.
“RSS ideology poses a threat not only to Muslims, but also to India,” he added.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan’s relationship with Kashmir is based on Islamic principles, adding that the country is “always based on ideology, which helps them understand causes greater than personal goals”.
“Pakistan is built on the visions of Alama Iqbal and Mohamed Ali Jinnah-I want Kashmiris to be free so they can live their lives in accordance with Islamic ideology.”
AJK’s health card
The Prime Minister shared his vision for Pakistan based on Medina. He said that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the first to establish an Islamic welfare state, and the PTI-led government is working hard to follow his teachings.
“Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province has issued health cards to all citizens, and Punjab will issue health cards to all citizens by the end of this year. Our goal is to provide them to all citizens of AJK,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that through medical insurance, families can receive treatment in any hospital without worrying about money, because each card can be used for 1 million rupees.
PM Imran Khan said that the PTI-led government has launched a new program to provide cheap loans to salaried personnel, including mechanics, welders, etc.-these people have never been able to buy a house for themselves.
In addition, he said that he would provide interest-free loans to extremely poor families so that they can purchase necessities, including motorcycles and fertilizers.
“There are two types of economic models-the first is the’trickle-down effect’, where people at the top become rich and help those whose income is lower than them. The other is adopted by Medina, where promoting the poor is the first task.”
He said that everyone in the family will receive technical training. In today’s world, technical education is essential because it can help women earn income at home.
The Prime Minister reminded people that because Muslims follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), they have ruled the world for hundreds of years.
“China has done the same, lifting 700 million people out of poverty and becoming a world superpower,” he said.
