The Interservice Public Relations Department (ISPR) reported on Sunday that a car of the military’s rapid response force (QRF) crashed into a canyon while trying to make a sharp turn in Laswa near Nilem Valley, killing four soldiers.

Military media stated that the incident occurred while the army was busy maintaining law and order in Jammu and Kashmir during the legislative assembly elections.

ISPR said that in addition to the military personnel who died in the line of duty, three other soldiers and a civilian driver were injured in the incident.
