Beverly apologized to Paul on Twitter on Thursday, saying that “emotions occupy my best place.”

Part of Beverly’s frustration may stem from the fact that the Clippers can’t stop Paul. The 11-time All-Star player defeated his old club 130-103 and scored 41 points to help Phoenix secure a place in the 2021 NBA Finals.

“We know they are broken. We know we destroyed them,” Suns forward Jack Lauder says When asked about Beverly’s push. “There is no better sign of failure than that moment… Once we know we won the game, we know they will collapse at some point. I think that’s basically what you see. You see The leader in the locker room at one of their breakthrough points.

“It’s a great feeling, especially in the playoffs. It’s a great feeling.”

Beverley became a key contributor in the Western Conference Finals, averaging 6.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, while often defending All-Star shooting guard Devin Booker. Throughout his career, he has been considered one of the biggest stimulus factors in the NBA, but obviously Paul played the best role in the sixth game.
