Rehman said that out of the 1,500 UCs in the province, the provincial government has formed only 210 trade union committees in the city. “Based on the city’s 15 million population, there should be about 700 UCs,” he added. He also announced that the party will launch the next stage of the “Karachi Rights Movement” after Eid.
