Pakistani cricket team captain Babar Azam wrote a sincere letter to Pakistani fans, thanking them for their immortal love and support for the national team.

In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Committee (PCB), Azam can be seen sitting on his laptop typing.

“The players and the fans have a very special relationship,” Azam’s voice can be heard in the background. “Without each other, they are nothing.”

The world’s number one ODI hitter is full of praise for Pakistani fans. He said that cheering for every victory in Pakistan and every loss gives the team confidence. This is the difference between Pakistani fans and other fans.

Azam paid special tribute to the British fans. The team recently arrived in the UK for a series with England.

“After Pakistan, the biggest fan base we have is in the UK,” said the excellent batsman. “Whenever we come to England, cheering fans will be there to support us from the airport to the hotel and on the ground,” he added.

Azam said that when Pakistan visited England last time, due to the COVID-19 agreement, the stands were empty and the team missed Pakistani fans.

He called on fans all over the world to cheer for the man in green at home and on social media.

The captain of the Pakistan team promised not to let them down.

“We came here with the spirit of victory and will return home as victors,” he said.
