Judge Ameer Bhatti sworn in as LHC CJ

Lahore: On Tuesday, Judge Mohamed Amir Bati was sworn in as the 51st Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court at a ceremony held at the Governor’s Mansion. The Governor of Punjab Province Ch Muhammad Sarwar swore an oath to Judge Muhammad Ameer Bhatti.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdal, LHC Senior Judge Malik Shahzad Khan and other judges, Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian Authority Dost Mohamed Mazari, Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat , SACM Firdous Ashiq Awan, federal and provincial legal officials, the commander of the Lahore Army Corps, IGP, judicial officials, and relatives of the Chief Justice were also present. Chief Secretary Javad Rafik read out the notice of appointment of Chief Justice Batty. After the oath, after arriving at the LHC, Chief Justice Batty was awarded the guard of honor. After taking office, Chief Justice Batty transferred Registrar Malik Mushtaq Ahmad Ojla (Malik Mushtaq Ahmad Ojla) and appointed District and Conference Judge Irfan Ahmad Ojla. Said (Irfan Ahmad Saeed) is the Registrar. By notice, the additional registrar Muhammad Yar Walana has been transferred from the bench of LHC Multan and has been appointed as the Chief Staff Officer of the Chief Justice. D&SJ Masood Arshad has been transferred from Multan Anti-Terrorism Court to LHC as the Director of the District Justice Bureau.
