On Thursday, a young man was shot dead after refusing to bid for a robbery in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Ilyas Hussain’s son, 32-year-old Naushad Hussain, was shot dead in the 4th block under the jurisdiction of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station. According to SHO Deputy Inspector Muhammad Afzal, the victim returned via an online bicycle service after withdrawing 195,000 rupees from a branch of a private bank, when two men on motorcycles intercepted him and pointed a gun at him for cash. However, when Hussein resisted, one of the suspects opened fire on him. The suspect fled the scene immediately.

Police said the victim was shot once and died shortly after the incident. He is from Milburkas and is a construction worker. The police said they are trying to track and arrest the suspect with the help of CCTV footage. In addition, the 52-year-old son of Haji Zakir was shot and wounded in the Muhammad Khan Colony in Baldia Town when he resisted a robbery attempt.

The Ethard Town police said that the injured had been taken to the Karachi Municipal Hospital. At the same time, Saddam, 27-year-old Humayun’s son, was shot dead in a shooting near Nishan-e-Hayder Park under the jurisdiction of the Rizvia Police Station. He was taken to Abbas Shahid Hospital. Police said the man was shot dead while resisting robbery.
