The Inter-Service Public Relations Department (ISPR) said that a Pakistani military officer and a soldier were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion at Balkhisthan Passni on Thursday.
Military media reported that terrorists used improvised explosive devices to target security forces in Khuda Bux Bazar near Pasni. It added that two soldiers, identified as Captains Affan Masood and Sepoy Babar Zaman, accepted their martyrdom.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that a search operation has been conducted to arrest the perpetrators.
“With the support of hostile intelligence agencies (HIAs), this cowardly behavior of hostile elements cannot undermine the hard-won peace and prosperity of Balochistan,” it reiterated the determination of the security forces to eliminate this evil design at all costs.
The Public Relations Service (ISPR) said in a statement that on Tuesday, two Pakistani Army soldiers, including a captain, were killed in an area disinfection operation conducted by security forces in the Zewa district of Kulam district on Tuesday.
According to military media reports, security forces conducted a regional disinfection operation in the Kulam area because of reports of terrorists. ISPR said that in the fierce fire, three terrorists were killed and two Pakistani army soldiers were martyred.
