Pakistan’s daily coronavirus cases exceed 1,500 for the third consecutive day

Islamabad: After Pakistan recorded a positive rate of 2.97 on Monday morning, the country’s coronavirus positive rate was close to 3%.
After another 25 people died from the virus, the death toll from the global coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan rose to 22,520.
In the past 24 hours, Sindh province had the highest number of deaths, followed by Punjab province. Of the 25 deaths, 16 died from ventilators.
According to statistics from the National Command and Operations Center, in the past 24 hours, a total of 47,528 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country, of which 1,737 were positive.
This is the third day when there are more than 1,500 new cases every day.
The positive rate of coronavirus is rising steadily. The current tax rate is 3.65%.
The cumulative number of deaths has reached 963,660. In addition, the total number of recoveries has reached 911,383, while the number of active cases has risen to 35,573.
According to the breakdown of the provinces, so far, there are 16,102 active cases in Sindh, 17,196 in Punjab, 9,547 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,978 in Islamabad Capital Territory, and 1,397 in Balochistan. There were 478 cases in Gilgit-Baltistan Province and 33 cases in Azamir State.
