The opposition leader of the Sindh Parliament, Haleem Adil Sheikh (Haleem Adil Sheikh) said that the PTI MPA boycotted the meeting to protest the suspension of the party’s eight MPAs. Eight PTI members, including PTI’s parliamentary leader in the House of Representatives Bilal Ahmed Ghaffar, were suspended for their unruly behavior in bringing a fake to the parliament as a coffin for democracy last Monday. .

The opposition leader said that lawmakers from his party will not participate in the rally until the ban on eight lawmakers is implemented. He said that whenever the provincial government publishes a job vacancy advertisement, the provincial government will ensure that the quotas for ethnic minorities are properly guaranteed.

He said that through the recruitment test conducted by the Sukkur School of Business Administration, when recruiting teachers for public schools in the province, it will also ensure a quota for religious minorities.

Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh stated that since the current federal government came to power, the people of the province have had to face massive cuts in natural gas and electricity supplies.

In response to the call for attention of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) MPA Nand Kumar Goklani, the Minister of Energy stated that electricity and natural gas consumers have been facing this situation due to the inefficiency of the federal government.

He said that due to the shortage of natural gas, domestic and industrial consumers in the province have been facing serious difficulties. He added that these industries have been facing challenges in fulfilling export orders due to the natural gas crisis. He said that although Sindh province accounts for 64% of the country’s natural gas production, natural gas consumers in the province have been facing serious problems.

When talking about the bill, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs stated that the bill aims to universalize social security for all workers in the province related to these two situations.
