Six people were injured in an explosion in Quetta

Quetta: An explosion in Quetta on Thursday night injured at least 6 people and damaged several buildings.
The Minister of Interior of Balochistan stated that more than 3 kilograms of explosives were used in the explosion, which was placed on a motorcycle.
At the same time, the Balochistan Anti-Terrorism Department (CTD) stated that the injured were in critical condition.
The police said that after the explosion, the injured had been transferred to the city’s municipal hospital, where an emergency had been declared, adding that the bomb disposal team had been summoned to the scene of the explosion.
CTD said that witnesses claimed that the explosion damaged several nearby buildings and that the explosives were buried on a motorcycle.
The matter is currently being investigated.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Jam Kamal, condemned the incident, saying that the terrorists involved would not be spared.
“Unless terrorism is uprooted, the government will not stand idly by,” he said.
Senate Chairman Sadik Sangirani also condemned the incident and expressed prayers for the injured to recover soon.
He also urged the government to provide all facilities for the wounded during treatment.
