Zil Hajj moon is not seen, Eid ul Adha will set down in Pakistan on July 21

Karachi: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Saturday that the Zil Hajj moon was not seen, so Eid al-Fitr will fall on July 21st.

The first day of the Hajj will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, and the Eid al-Adha will be held on Wednesday, July 21.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee met today at the Metropolitan Complex of the Pakistan Meteorological Service in Karachi to observe the new moon of Zil Hajj 1442 AH.

Ruet-e-Hilal Central Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad arrived in Karachi from Islamabad to preside over the meeting.

At the same time, the Ruet-e-Hilal committees of the provinces and regions met at their headquarters at the same time. Meetings in Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar all reported that they had not received any testimony about the discovery of the moon.

Maulana Azad said that although the sky is clear in most parts of the country, there are also a few areas with clouds.

He said that he had not received any testimony about the observation of the moon, so he unanimously decided to hold the first day of Hajj on Monday, July 12, and the Eid al Adha on Wednesday, July 21.

According to climate data released earlier by the Bureau of Meteorology, Zilhaj’s new moon will be born on July 10 at 06:18 Pacific Standard Time. It is estimated that it will be less than 14 hours old when observing the moon. Impossible to be seen.
