Every year, on the second Friday of October, people around the world gather to celebrate a seemingly simple but incredibly versatile and nutritious food – the egg.

This year’s World Egg Day theme is ‘Eggs for a Healthy Future,’ and it highlights the remarkable nutritional value of eggs, emphasizing their potential to combat common nutrient deficiencies across the globe.

In observance of the day, the Faisalabad Poultry Association in Pakistan took a remarkable initiative to spread awareness about the nutritional importance of eggs.

They generously donated over a hundred dozen eggs to the citizens.

To make the citizens aware of the versatility of eggs, various egg dishes, including egg halwa, omelettes, and egg gram, were served for breakfast.

Shabbir Ahmad Sindhu, a representative of the Faisalabad Poultry Association, explained, “The purpose of our activity today is to spread awareness about the medicinal benefits of eggs.”
