Karachi: For the residents of Sindh, traveling by bus or entering the bull market or staying in hotels is only allowed under one condition: they must be vaccinated.

In view of the increasing number of infection cases in Sindh and Karachi, the Ministry of Interior of Sindh has issued new instructions.

According to the latest instructions from the Ministry of the Interior, people who wish to participate in outdoor weddings must also be vaccinated.

Karachi Korangi District implements smart lockdown

According to the Daily Jang report, the Rafah-e-Aam Society, Shah Faisal Colony and Gulzar Colony areas in Korangi district have implemented smart lockdowns.

The area has implemented a smart lockdown until July 31.

On the other hand, according to the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, all markets in Lahore will continue to be closed today (Sunday).

In the past week, the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan has steadily increased. The positive rate of coronavirus has exceeded the 5% threshold. The country also reported more than 2,500 cases.

Pakistani authorities have warned that the country is experiencing a fourth wave of infections, and the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has announced a series of new restrictions.

The Sindh provincial government has decided to close schools, once again ban indoor dining, and implement several other restrictions across the province, as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to increase due to fears of the fourth wave of epidemics.

These steps were taken during the meeting of the Provincial Coronavirus Task Force led by CM in Sindh Province on Wednesday.

The school will be closed to students in all classes from Friday, except for examinations for students of grade 9 and above. After the exam, schools for students in grade 9 and above will also be closed.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed concern about the deterioration of COVID-19 in Sindh. The positive rate in Sindh has risen sharply in the past few days.

Restaurants, amusement parks, water parks, tourist attractions, cinemas, gyms and indoor games for indoor dining have also been closed.

The health authorities issued a fourth wave of warnings due to the failure to implement the safety agreement.

After the decline in new cases, Sindh has lifted the restrictions in stages over the past few months.
