In the new travel advice, the Civil Aviation Administration stated that all inbound passengers 6 years and older must undergo a valid PCR test within 72 hours before starting their journey to Pakistan and the result will be negative.
“All arriving passengers 6 years and older will undergo rapid antigen testing upon arrival in Pakistan,” said the travel advisory.
It said that passengers between the ages of 6 and 12 who tested positive will be placed in home quarantine under the supervision of relevant authorities.
The travel advice says: “Passengers over the age of 12 who test positive will be quarantined at designated facilities in accordance with already popular procedures.”
The announcement added: “Considering the volatility of the COVID-19 situation, any or all arriving passengers may also be subject to additional regulations stipulated by the relevant health authorities when they arrive in Pakistan.”

The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) said Tuesday morning that the country has reported 67 new coronavirus deaths, bringing the national death toll to 23,529.
Approximately 3,582 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours.
The positive rate of coronavirus in Pakistan is 7.19%, and there are 75,373 active cases across the country.
NCOC data shows that in the past 24 hours, there have been at least 49,798 coronavirus tests nationwide, of which 3,582 were positive.
Meanwhile, so far, 682,290 people in the country have recovered from the virus.
