Nottingham: Captain Babar Azam and goalkeeper Mohamed Rizwan said that “good understanding” helped them achieve a huge victory in the first T20 match against England at Trent Bridge on Friday.

The record-breaking duo gave a speech on the YouTube channel of the Pakistan Cricket Committee. During this time, Azam said that the initial strategy was to play cautiously, but when Rizwan began to bear the pressure, he had to take responsibility.

At the same time, Rizwan stated that the reason for their successful collaboration was their online consultation meeting, which helped him perform better.

“Babar Azam played an important role in making my game better,” he added.

Babar hit three six-pointers and eight four-pointers, 49 points and 85 points, while Rizwan 41 points and 63 points. They added 150 points in the first wicket collaboration.

This is the 10th time that Babar has participated in the 100+ stands in a T20I competition. He is the representative of Pakistan’s batsmen for the most hundred years and tied for second in the world.

Martin Guptill and David Warner also participated in a 10th century partnership in the T20I format. They are just one of more than 100 partners behind India’s Rohit Sharma, who has participated in 11 such partnerships.

In his 10th century partnership, Babar joined Rizwan three times, making them Pakistan’s most successful batting partner in the Grandstand of the Century.

Rizwan and Babar hit the ball 12 times together and shared 670 times.

Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal’s batting pair increased a total of 797 in 24 innings, while Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shahzad as batting partners had 741 points in 21 innings.

There are only two pairs in the world-Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma and Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson-have more centuries than Babar and Rizwan. This pair of Indians and New Zealanders each have four centuries of history.
