Former captain Viren Rasquinha supported the Indian team and posted on Twitter:
“I am very nervous and excited about the most important game of Indian hockey in 41 years. It has not reached the Olympic SF since 1980 (sic). It is time for us to change this statistic in tonight’s QF vs. GBR. I would love to see it. The whole country is watching and supporting our hockey team. Give it everything you have a boy!”
There are a lot of news on Twitter hoping that the team will kill and do their best.
While fans and critics waited with bated breath, India hopes to do well and stand on the right side in what may become the result of the country’s historic hockey sport.
