In a report from ESPN, Twyman’s agent Drew Rosenhaus (Drew Rosenhaus) said that he was visiting his aunt and that he “came to the wrong place and the wrong time”.

“Talk to him today and he will be fine-this is the most important thing. We are grateful that he is fine. He will fully recover,” Rosenhaus said in the report.

The report stated that the wound does not require surgery.

Twyman is Pete’s former defensive tackle. Before he opted out of the 2020 season due to the coronavirus, he led the team with 12 losses and 10.5 sacks in 2019. He is the first Pitt inside forward to lead the team in sacks since Aaron Donald in 2013.

When the Vikings drafted him in the sixth round, Twyman’s success with Pitt allowed him to be selected with the 199th overall pick in the draft.
