Have you heard of job applications that sell for tens of millions of dollars? The job application of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has now been auctioned for more than 2.5 crore rupees.

This job application was filled out by Steve Jobs in 1973, when he was only 18 years old. Interestingly, this is the only job application that Jobs has filled out so far.

Jobs’ job application has been auctioned through an online auction for a price of up to 3,43,00 US dollars, which is roughly equivalent to 2,54,95,018.50 rupees.

Steve Jobs filled in many parts, including his name, address, phone number, main language, driver’s license, convenient transportation, special abilities, etc., as stated in the auction description.

The auction further indicated that the application was “in very good condition, with cross folds, overall creases, slight staining, and some old scotch tape on the top edge.”

It is worth noting that the same job application was also sold earlier. In March 2021, the same job application was sold for $2,2221,747, which means that the value has doubled.

However, there is more. This auction has a group of friends called Winthorpe Ventures. According to reports, the organization provided Jobs’ job application in the form of print and NFT in the auction. The bidding in printed form is conducted in U.S. dollars, while the bidding in NFT is conducted in Ethereum.

The organization’s website stated, “For months, irreplaceable tokens have been dominating the art and collectibles field, but there is controversy over whether they represent true value, and people doubt whether they can withstand the test of time of traditional physical assets. .”

The website also mentioned, “By auctioning both NFT and original physical work applications, this auction will test the demand for digital assets compared to physical equivalents. This unprecedented auction will challenge values in the physical and digital world. The results of the auction will show whether the true value can be reflected in both, or whether one medium is in the leading position.”

At the same time, in the end, the bid for the printed copy of the application was four times that of the NFT version. The maximum bid for the print edition is $343,000.
