Three Rawalpindi Islamic School students died after apparently eating “toxic food”: police

Police said on Saturday that three elementary school students from Rawalpindi died after apparently eating “toxic food”.

The police claimed that students Junaid, Ibad and Islam were studying in madrassa in Darbar Saroba, and added that two people were found dead and one alive in the morning.

The police said the third student later died before reaching the hospital.

According to the police, these students complained to the school administrator about stomach pain after having dinner the night before.

The bodies of the children have been transferred to the district hospital, and investigations into the matter have begun.

The police said that once the autopsy report comes out, the situation will be clearer.
