Three people died in a traffic accident

On Sunday, three people were killed and more than ten were injured in various traffic accidents in parts of the city.
A passerby was killed and a motorcyclist was injured in a road traffic accident in the airport area. They were taken to the Jinnah Graduate Medical Center. The deceased was identified as 55-year-old Rafik and the injured was 25-year-old Rafi Akhtar.
The police said the accident happened when a motorcyclist hit a passerby. Further investigation is ongoing. Separately, a man was killed in a traffic accident near the Ansari flyover on the highway. The body was transported to Abbas Shahid Hospital. The deceased was identified as 40-year-old Naim, the son of Aslam and a resident of the area.
In another accident, Hanif, the son of a 40-year-old man, Haji Ahmed, died after a container fell on him near the power plant in Port Qasim within the boundaries of the Binkasim Police Station. The police said he was a tow truck driver from Punjab.
At the same time, a passenger car overturned in the Sher Shah area, injuring as many as 12 people. The injured were transferred to Cibil Hospital in Karachi. The injured included Bilal, 8 years old; Abdul Jabbar, 40 years old; Arshad, 35 years old; Bakhtiar, 40 years old; Fazal Hussein, 55 years old; Shamim, 50 Shabbir’s wife; Shahnaz, 40, Ashraf’s wife; Zahrula, 50; Lazia, 40, Usman’s wife; Zahirullah Khan, 60; Muzaffar Hussein, 45 years old; and Obaid, 52. Further investigation is ongoing.
