It added that the Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Afghan ambassador today and emphasized all the steps the government has taken in this regard and assured him of full cooperation.

The statement said: “We hope that the Afghan government will reconsider its decision.”

The statement was issued after Afghanistan stated on Sunday that its ambassador to Islamabad and all senior diplomats were recalled due to “security threats” after the senior envoy’s daughter was briefly “kidnapped” in the Pakistani capital this week.

“After the daughter of the Afghan ambassador to Pakistan was kidnapped, the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan have recalled Afghan envoys and other high-level diplomats from Islamabad to Kabul until all security threats are eliminated,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, calling for the arrest and prosecution of the kidnappers.

The minister said that a point in her journey, before Gakhar Square, is currently a blind spot because the authorities have not yet been able to obtain footage of the area.

“This girl also used her mobile internet service during Daman Koh,” he said.

The minister went on to say that the pictures of girls circulating in the media “do not belong to girls”.
