The country celebrates its 75th Independence Day with traditional enthusiasm

• Pakistan today celebrates its 75th Independence Day.
• The main flag-raising ceremony will be held at the Presidential Palace.
• All major public and private buildings were decorated to commemorate this important day.

Islamabad: Today, the Pakistani nation is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence with traditional enthusiasm and enthusiasm, and holding special events to highlight the struggle of our ancestors and national heroes to obtain an independent homeland.

The day begins with a special prayer and 31-gun salutes in the federal capital and 21-gun salutes in all capital cities. At dawn, special prayers are held in the mosque to pray for peace, unity and prosperity of the country.

The main flag-raising ceremony will be held at the Presidential Palace, and President Arif Alvi will be the main guest. After the flag was raised, the military band played the national anthem. After reading the Quran and Nat Sharif, President Alvi will address the country.

Folk songs and Kalam-e-Iqbal will be presented during the ceremony.

Different public and private sectors are holding special events and activities, including seminars, discussion projects, photo exhibitions, paintings, poetry, folk songs and debate competitions, focusing on acknowledging the contributions of Pakistani movement leaders and the sacrifices of national heroes.

Like other cities, all the main roads and streets of the federal capital are decorated with flags, banners and colored flags to present a festive atmosphere.

The city’s main public and private buildings were also lit to commemorate this important occasion.

For the convenience and safety of the public, the Islamabad Capital Region police and the provincial government have finalized a traffic management plan.

Literary and cultural organizations have also made plans to commemorate this day.

Changing of the guard ceremony

At the same time, the changing of the guard was held today at the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Mausoleum in Karachi.

A savvy cadet team from the Pakistan Naval Academy took on the role of ceremonial guards in the mausoleum with traditional spirit and customary enthusiasm.

Brigadier General Sohail Ahmed, commander of the Pakistan Naval Academy, was the main guest at the ceremony. He also laid a wreath on the mausoleum and presented Fatah.

In Lahore, in commemoration of Independence Day, an elegant changing of the guard was also held at the mausoleum of Dr. Alama Mohamed Iqbal.

A smart Pakistani army task force assumed the security duties of Mazar-e-Iqbal.
