Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Tuesday that the Chinese Communist Party has proved that “the power to gain power is mainly to change people’s lives”.

In his virtual speech at the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the World Political Party Summit, the Premier stated that the “people-oriented” development method is China’s core to the “amazing success” of the Communist Party of China.

The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan hopes to emulate China’s “remarkable achievements” in the comprehensive development of the country, poverty alleviation, and anti-corruption.

He talked about how Chairman Mao Zedong, the founding father of the People’s Republic of China, and later Chairman Deng Xiaoping “guided the Chinese people to restore national dignity, self-esteem, self-esteem, and China’s due position in the world.”

“For decades, the spirit of the Chinese Communist Party has injected new vitality and hope beyond China’s borders. It has inspired the people of the colonized countries and contributed to ending colonialism,” he said.

Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that the Communist Party of China “is always committed to serving the people and prioritizing the well-being and interests of the people.”

He said: “The achievements of the Chinese Communist Party have opened up new ideological horizons for political parties around the world.”

The Prime Minister said that the party has “proved that the gaining power is mainly to change people’s lives and make them masters of their own destiny”.

“Indeed, political parties can only gain public support and legitimacy if they continue to serve the people selflessly,” he said.

China under Xi Jinping

Prime Minister Imran Khan also praised China’s President Xi Jinping for his “vision and vision”, saying that he “played a key role in China’s transformation and continued rise.”

“His people-oriented philosophy has had a major impact because China has recently eliminated extreme poverty-one of the greatest achievements in human history,” the prime minister said.

He said that at the same time, China has achieved the goal of building a “well-off society” set for itself.

Imran Khan said that Pakistan supports China’s efforts to maintain world peace, promote global development, and maintain international order.

He said that President Xi’s vision of realizing shared prosperity through the “Belt and Road” has had a significant impact on global sustainable development, “thus proving his qualifications as a world politician”.

The Prime Minister said that under the leadership of President Xi, China has achieved “major success” in the war against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“He announced that the COVID-19 vaccine has become a global public product, which reflects his compassion and impartiality.”

PTI’s vision

Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that the mission of the “Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation” of the Communist Party of China and PTI’s “Naya Pakistan” vision “reflect the respective wishes of the two peoples”.

He said that he founded PTI 25 years ago based on the principles of accountability, transparency, meritocracy, and Islamic welfare to break the vicious circle of elite capture, corruption and nepotism.

“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf remains committed to its original mission of establishing the rule of law and building a humane and compassionate society.”

He said that the Ehsaas plan launched by the government last year has now become one of the leading social protection plans in South Asia.

The Prime Minister said that now, as the plan enters the second phase, the government’s goal is to provide social security to 8 million Pakistan’s poorest citizens.

“We have made universal health coverage a priority for our health sector reform. According to the’Ehsaas Sahulat’ plan, our goal is to first provide free medical insurance to families living below the poverty line, and then provide free medical care to families in various provinces The insurance is managed by PTI,” he said.

PM Imran Khan also talked about Pakistan’s climate change initiatives.

“Our 10 billion tree tsunami project reflects our commitment to environmental degradation and reversing the loss of biodiversity. We are ready to protect this precious planet and help it recover from centuries of neglect. Make more contributions,” he said.

CPEC and Pakistan turn to geo-economy

The Prime Minister stated that after the emerging global and regional environment, Pakistan “re-adjusted its priorities from geopolitics to geoeconomics.”

He said that as the flagship project of the “Belt and Road” initiative, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) “focuses on economic integration and regional interconnection, and complements Pakistan’s new efforts in geo-economic transformation”.

“Furthermore, according to the green vision of our government, which is exactly the same as Chairman Xi’s green China vision, the conversion of CPEC to green CPEC is a priority for Pakistan,” the prime minister said.

China-Pakistan relations are “anchor of peace”

He then talked about the long-term relationship between Pakistan and China.

The Prime Minister said: “Our lasting friendship with China and CPEC complements this vision of peace for ourselves and others, as well as the vision of common prosperity and common development for our region and the world.”

“Pakistan and China are’iron brothers.’ We support each other on issues of our respective core interests,” he continued.

“In an era of complex and profound changes at the global and regional levels, our’all-weather strategic partnership’ is still a powerful pillar of peace, progress and prosperity,” Imran Khan said.

He pointed out that this year is also the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

“Our two countries are celebrating this historic milestone in an appropriate way. I believe that 2021 will provide new vitality and vitality to our tried-and-tested friendship,” he said.

Finally, the Prime Minister urged the gathering “to join hands in advancing the noble cause of peace and development, the well-being of the people, and building a’community with a shared future for mankind’.”

About the summit

According to Pakistan Radio, Chinese President Xi Jinping is presiding over the summit.

It is expected that more than 500 political parties and more than 10,000 political workers and representatives from all over the world will participate in the virtual event.

In addition to Prime Minister Imran Khan, 20 other world leaders will make statements at the meeting.

A “Joint Proposal Statement” will be issued at the end of the summit.
