Quetta: The budget meeting today (Friday) was damaged by the conflict between opposition lawmakers and supporters and the police.

When the police arrived at the rally and opened the door locked by the opposition party, chaos broke out outside the rally.

Intense talk between police officers and opposition lawmakers made the situation tense.

The police tried to open the locked door, opposition supporters surrounded the rally, and clashes broke out.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan and several members of Parliament then arrived at the rally and entered the rally accompanied by the police.

The budget meeting started under the chairmanship of Speaker Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo. The opposition MPA Nasrullah Zehray accused the police of using violent means to disperse “peaceful protests” outside the rally.

Another MPA, Sana Baloch, lashed out at the government, saying that the province is in the worst state since its establishment.

He said that members of Parliament Abdul Wahid Sidiki and Babar Rahim Mongar were injured by the armored vehicles of the police.

Balochistan Finance Minister Mirzahur Ahmed Brady introduced the budget during the meeting.

Earlier, it was reported that when the Chief Minister arrived in Parliament, opposition parties’ protests and conflicts intensified.

Why are the opposition parties opposed to the budget?

In the past four days, supporters of the opposition party blocked the state roads in several cities in Balochistan. The opposition party accused the government of ignoring development projects in the budget.

Opposition lawmakers warned that they would not let the provincial government submit a budget on Friday.

The opposition leader said, dawn, Stating that if their proposed development project is not included in the Provincial Annual Development Plan (ADP), they will not allow any MPA to enter parliament on Friday.
