Tesla calls back 300,000 vehicles over tail light software glitch

Tesla has recalled its 2020 to 2023 Model vehicles to fix the rear light software glitch, which can increase the risk of crashes.

As of now, the company has not received any reports of crashes in the given models. However, it received some complaints about the lights not illuminating. Thus, the update is required to avoid any potential collisions.

The automaker company will release a wireless online software update to fix the issue in more than 300,000 vehicles.

The vehicle owners will be notified by a letter, which will be sent from January 14, 2023. The vehicles that are in production have already received the update. 

Previously, Tesla had recalled its cars for not being able to inflate the airbag correctly and power steering assist.
