Sindh Province Appoints Murtaza Wahab as Chief Executive Karachi

Murtaza Wahab, an adviser to the Chief Minister of Sindh, has been appointed by the local government (LG) as the administrator of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
The LG department issued a formal notice on Thursday announcing the appointment.
With reference to the relevant chapters of the Sindh Local Government Law and the decision of the Sindh Cabinet, the notice stated that Wahab had taken over as the new KMC administrator and succeeded Lake Ahmed, with immediate effect.
At the same time, four elected members of Parliament were sworn in as new ministers at an oath ceremony held in the Government House.
The Governor of Sindh Province Imran Ismail presided over the oath of the new ministers, including Sajid Chocchio, Giyan Chand Eslani, Ciodin Abbas Riz Peacekeeping and Jam Khan Shaoruo.
The Chief Minister of Sindh Province Murad Ali Shah and several PPP and PTI members of the Parliament attended the ceremony.
Fayyaz But and Rasool Bux Chandio were appointed as CM’s assistants at the ceremony.
