SINDH postponed Inter Milan, high school exam

The Sindh provincial government on Friday postponed the intermediate and preparatory exams originally scheduled for next week because it announced that it will implement a lockdown across the province from Sunday to control the fourth wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said at a press conference that due to the increasing number of cases of the Delta variant that initially appeared in India, a one-week “partial lockdown” will be implemented from Sunday, July 31 to August 8. .

The following are the restrictions that the province will implement

Grocery stores, butcher shops and dairy shops will be open until 6pm.
The restaurant will only provide takeaway service, and takeaway will be banned
The market will remain closed
Pharmacies and medical facilities will be open 24/7
Public transportation will be partially operated, but there are some Covid-19 restrictions
Media personnel wearing masks are allowed to move
Earlier today, the Sindh provincial government announced that after an abnormal surge in COVID-19 cases, especially in Karachi, it would impose a lockdown on the province from July 31 (tomorrow) to August 8.

The decision was made by Chief Minister Sindhsai Murad Ali Shah at a COVID working group meeting specially attended by opposition leaders and traders. “From July 31st to August 8th, the province will continue to implement the lockdown,” Murad Ali Shah said.

Later in the press conference, CM Murad clarified that this is not a complete blockade. We closed everything, but there are no exceptions, but this time we will make some exceptions and we will share the list.
