Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said in his daily Covid-19 situation report on Friday that there were as many as 542 cases when 13,970 tests were conducted in the province Case. He added that so far, the province has reported 5,314 deaths and the Covid-19 death rate is 1.6%.
Currently, 19,830 people are said to have been infected with the coronavirus. Among them, 19,189 were quarantined at home, and 27 were in quarantine centers in different cities in the province. The remaining 614 people received treatment in different medical institutions.
According to the CM report, Karachi East District has the highest number of deaths with 1,359 people, followed by Central District with 987 people, South District with 682 people, Korangi District with 559 people, West District with 433 people, Mariel District with 204 and 330 people in Hyderabad People in the district.
Officials said that the number of deaths from new coronary pneumonia in other parts of the province reached double digits, while the death toll of 205 people is under investigation. Chief Minister Shah said that 13,970 samples were tested and a total of 542 cases were detected, with a detection rate of 3.9%.
So far, 4,354,403 tests have been conducted and 331,077 cases have been detected. Of these, 92.4%, or 305,933 patients, have recovered, of which 514 recovered overnight. Of the 542 new cases reported on June 17, Karachi found 279 cases-74 in the Eastern District, 66 in the Central District, 52 in the Southern District, 46 in the Korangi District, 24 in the Marial District, and 17 in the Western District. example.

The Chief Minister urged the people of the province to comply with the standard operating procedures established by his government to ensure effective control of the deadly virus.
