Security forces rescued five laborers kidnapped by unknown terrorists in Kulam district

In a statement, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that security personnel rescued five workers on Thursday, 16 of whom were arrested in the Kulam district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on June 26. Kidnapped by unidentified terrorists.

The military media said in a statement that after the kidnapping incident, the terrorists released 10 of the 16 laborers on June 27 and found a body at the same time.

In order to rescue these renamed workers, the security forces carried out a series of intelligence-based operations (IBO) in “very desolate terrain under extreme weather conditions”.

The security forces continued to track the terrorists. On July 13th, three terrorists were killed in the IBO. Captain Basit Ali and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal martyred.

Finally, today—as troops continue to hunt down terrorists—the remaining five abducted laborers were rescued in another exchange of fire.

The arrest and elimination of the remaining terrorists is still ongoing, and the army is always committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of innocent civilians who wholeheartedly support the army’s fight against terrorism.
