Sawar urges Britain to help resolve Kashmir and Palestine issues

The Governor of Punjab Province Chowdhury Mohamed Sawar said that the Pakistani army and people have sacrificed more than 70,000 people in this unprecedented war on terrorism. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan supports regional peace and stability and opposes terrorism. While urging the British authorities to play a more active role in resolving the Kashmir and Palestine issues, he said that the resolution of these issues is vital to regional peace, adding that Pakistan has always played a role in regional stability. From the beginning, Pakistan has been playing a role in peace in Afghanistan. The Governor of Punjab thanked Britain for its support to Pakistan in the fields of education and health. There is no doubt that the current government and Lord Tarek Ahmed’s visit to Pakistan will further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries during the process of strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. Lord Tariq Ahmed, Secretary of State of the United Kingdom, expressed his hope that Pakistan-UK relations will be strengthened through this visit. He said that Britain will play its role in Pakistan’s prosperity because Pakistan is close to his heart.

“We need to unite to meet global challenges,” he said. The British High Commissioner stated that the UK will expand cooperation in the fields of Pakistani education and health.
