A body was found in Camp No. 4 of K2, suspected to be Pakistani climbers Ali Sadpara, John Snorri or Juan Pablo Mohr, who were killed while trying to climb the mountain in the winter in February this year.

Sajid Sadpara trek with Canadian filmmakers Elia Saikaly and Pasang Kaji Sherpa to find the bodies of his fathers Snorri and Mohr.

According to sources, the team arrived at Camp 4 this morning and flew a drone in the area to search for dead bodies.

Using drones, the team was able to detect a corpse above Camp 4, but they have not yet determined who the deceased was.

Sajid Sadpara climbed to the top of K2 to find Ali Sadpara’s body and make a documentary

Last month, Sajid, the son of the famous climber Ali Sadpara, announced that he would climb to the top of K2 again to film a documentary about his father and find his body.

“I want to go to K2 to learn about what happened to my father and John Snorri,” Sajid said at a press conference, announcing his plan to climb the world’s second highest mountain starting tomorrow.

“A documentary about the lives of Jon Snorri and Ali Sadpara is in production. [I hope] Go to K2 search [the dead body] And make a documentary,” Sajid said, adding that it may take 40 to 45 days for him and his team to reach the top.

Zapala was pronounced dead by his family

Ali Sadpara, Iceland’s John Snorri and Chile’s Juan Pablo Mohr set off for K2 after Sadpara’s birthday on February 3rd and asked fans and admirers to “let us keep praying”.

They started their last summit attempt in the early hours of February 5th, hoping to complete this arduous feat in the afternoon.

At that time, the Pakistani army conducted a thorough search of the climber and his companions, but did not find the expedition, so Zapala’s family announced that he was dead.

“I will continue my father’s mission and realize his dream,” Sajid Sapala said.
