Soon after the tell-all press conference of PTI leader Faisal Vawda on journalist Arshad Sharif’s killing in Kenya, his party distanced itself from it saying he tried to damage the party’s upcoming long march and his statement did not represent party policy and views.
Faisal claimed during his hurriedly-called presser that the killing of senior journalist was not an accident and his murder was planned in Pakistan.
"I've made a video and named people… If I'm killed the personalities involved will also be killed in three to five hours," Faisal said.

The PTI’s vocal leader said that Arshad Sharif did not want to leave the country but was frightened by the "conspirators" and the personalities who were conveying the message had to be believed.
He said that the establishment had no role in the killing of the senior journalist, adding that the name of the conspirators will be revealed soon.
Vawda also claimed that the upcoming long march towards Islamabad would be “bloody”. “Imran Khan’s peaceful long march is our right but I am clearly telling you I am seeing blood, deaths and coffins in this march.”
PTI Sindh chapter president Ali Zaidi issued show cause notice to Vawda and suspended his party membership.

"Faisal wavda [Vawda] statement does NOT represent party policy and views," wrote PTI senior leader Asad Umar on his official Twitter handle.
Faisal wavda statement does NOT represent party policy and views. President sind has been told on the instructions of the chairman @ImranKhanPTI, to issue show cause notice to faisal for violating party policy https://t.co/V5f59d9ZaW

He said that PTI Sindh chapter president has been told on the instructions of the chairman, Imran Khan to issue show cause notice to Faisal for violating the party policy.
Zaidi in an earlier tweet alleged that Faisal tried to "damage" PTI's long march, which will be taken out from Lahore on Friday under the leadership of Imran Khan.
Vawda tried to damage our #LongMarch
Interestingly all channels + PTV covered the presser so it’s clear that #ImportedGovernment launched him. But he made no sense.
When @ImranKhanPTI has clearly issued instructions for all to remain peaceful, what weight does his presser carry?

He further said that when Imran Khan has clearly issued instructions for all to remain peaceful, what weight does Faisal's presser carry?
Former Sindh governor Imran Ismail said that he failed to understand on whose instruction was Faisal saying all this. "I am unable to understand what was the real purpose of today's press conference? Our long march is peaceful," he added.

The PTI leader said that it was not Imran's way to do politics on dead bodies and people should not do politics on the martyrdom of Arshad Sharif. "Our long march will be peaceful and conspiracy to spoil it will fail," he added.
Another PTI leader Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari questioned why Faisal's press conference was aired on PTV, which does not usually broadcast pressers of opposition leaders.
Has PTV been devolved to Punjab or KPK? Is that why they just kindly aired Faisal Vadwa’s press conference ? Will they show all of ours daily from now on? Or was this one special?
